Lena Wiegmann from Prof. Kurtcuoglu's Interface Group received a Silver PhD Award from ESAO, the European Society of Artificial Organs. She was given the award during the opening ceremony of the XLV Annual Congress of the ESAO in Madrid on Sept. 12, 2018.
